About Christian Health Care Adult Day Services
Christian Health Care Adult Day Services in Wayne and Wyckoff are quality day programs for area seniors offering a loving, safe atmosphere for participants and a welcome respite for their caregivers. Recreational programs, social services, and nursing care all contribute to helping Christian Health Care Adult Day Services' clients lead active, comfortable lives.
Christian Health Care Adult Day Services has two convenient locations:

Health and Therapeutic Programs and Services
To meet the changing health-care needs of clients, Christian Health Care Adult Day Services offers occupational, physical, and speech therapy programs, plus psychiatry and podiatry services.
Our full-time registered nurse monitors clients' medical progress, administers medication, and serves as a liaison between doctor and family. Vital signs are checked regularly. Diabetic and tuberculosis testing, and flu and pneumonia vaccines are available.
Personal Care Services
Because looking and feeling good contribute to one's self-esteem and well-being, Christian Health Care Adult Day Services offers personal-care services to our day seniors. These include shower facilities, shaving, hair care (barber and hairdresser), and nail care.
Financial Assistance
Medicaid is accepted at Christian Health Care Adult Day Services. Other financial-assistance programs include the Community Care Program for the Elderly and Disabled, Respite Care, state Gerontology Alzheimer's Program, Multiple Sclerosis Society, and long-term care insurance. Activities
A full range of activities designed to educate, stimulate, and entertain is offered. A typical schedule might include morning stretch exercises, talks on healthy aging, nutritional tips, and fitness advice. Trips to nearby shopping malls, nature walks, singalongs, games and contests, and informative lectures are also scheduled. Intergenerational activities and talks about current events help keep minds alert and encourage discussion.
Themed events, barbecues, and birthday parties are sources of fun and friendship. Christian Health Care Adult Day Services seniors get involved in seasonal and multicultural happenings, from Valentine's Day and Halloween parties to Hawaiian luaus and Mexican fiestas. More than 150 people enjoy the annual holiday family Christmas party.
Christian Health Care Adult Day Services' social worker offers individual and family counseling, conducts support groups, and provides information on home-care and long-range planning.
