While the focus of the original founders of Christian Health Care Center was a strong commitment to caring for the mentally ill, these visionaries soon saw a growing need for elder-care services. Demographic data revealed the aging of America. Significant advances in medicine and technology, aided by healthier lifestyles, was boosting longevity. Today, Christian Health Care Center offers a broad range of services for seniors, whether they are in need of 24-hour nursing care, suffering from dementia, or leading active and very independent lifestyles.

Heritage Manor Nursing Home includes skilled nursing and medical care, registered dietitians, social services, activities, and pastoral care for 252 residents.

Southgate is a special-care nursing facility providing behavior-management treatment for adults 18 and older with behavioral problems that prevent them from receiving care in traditional facilities.

The Longview Assisted Living Residence provides 24-hour supportive personal and health services for 95 residents in a home-like setting which promotes independence, dignity, and a sense of community. The Courtyard is a specialized unit designed to care for residents with memory impairment.

Hillcrest Residence is a 39-bed residence for the elderly who value their independent spirit, but find comfort in knowing that someone is close by.

Evergreen Court is a supportive senior-housing complex for senior citizens, and the majority of the 40 one-bedroom apartments are designated as affordable units.

Christian Health Care Adult Day Services of Wayne and Wyckoff are vital programs that improve the quality of life for area seniors by providing the opportunity for peer socialization, as well as respite for the caregiver.
