About the Ramapo Ridge Partial Program

The Ramapo Ridge Partial Program of Christian Health Care Center is designed to treat adult clients who are experiencing severe symptoms related to an acute psychiatric/psychological condition or an exacerbation of a severe and persistent mental-health condition.

The Ramapo Ridge Partial Program, a voluntary program, provides short-term treatment to assist in the decrease of acute psychiatric symptoms and in the development of coping skills needed for community living. It serves as a preventive program to inpatient treatment or as a step in the continuum of care following inpatient treatment.

The Ramapo Ridge Partial Program is intended to:

• alleviate the impairment that precipitated entrance into the program or which required an intensive level of intervention,
• develop and enhance the client's coping abilities, and
• assist the client in returning to his/her pre-existing daily functioning levels.

The Ramapo Ridge Partial Program serves individuals of all faiths; it is uniquely positioned to provide Christian counseling, when requested by a client. The Ramapo Ridge Partial Program counselors are highly trained to provide comprehensive mental-health care treatment that promotes recovery and health.

Hours of Operation

The Ramapo Ridge Partial Program is offered Monday to Friday. The full-day program runs from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.; the half-day schedule is from 8:30 a.m. to noon. Attendance may fluctuate depending on the client's specific needs.

At the Ramapo Ridge Partial Program, and at all our mental-health programs and facilities at Christian Health Care Center (CHCC), we meet the needs of the mentally ill with care, compassion, and commitment. In addition to Ramapo Ridge Partial Program, other mental-health options available include Ramapo Ridge Psychiatric Hospital, Christian Health Care Counseling Center, Pathways, and Advent Counseling Center.
